What will happen during my service?
The key points we’ll cover will depend on the type of service you choose. Take a look below at our different
servicing options, and see which of them best fits your needs.
If you’re not sure which is right for you and your vehicle, please get in touch and a friendly member of our
expert team will help.
It’s essential that you service your car according to the manufacturer’s recommended schedule. If you’re a high-mileage car user, you’ll want to book in for an interim service every six months, or every
– whichever occurs first. This will help to keep your car in the best possible condition and maintain optimum performance.
During an interim service, our expert technicians will investigate 50 key points, including:
- Testing all the main moving parts of your car
- Performing an oil and filter change
- Topping up essential fluids
- Removing the wheels to carry out brake, steering and suspension checks
We will also stamp your service book, or update your digital service record.
Most manufacturers recommend a full service every 12 months, or every
– whichever comes first. It’s really important that you abide by these guidelines. Regular servicing allows us to identify any potential problems early on, and reduces your risk of breaking down.
During a full service, our expert technicians will investigate over 75 key points, including:
- Testing all the main moving parts of your car
- Performing an oil and filter change
- Carrying out an air filter change
- Topping up essential fluids, including brake fluid, power steering fluid and coolant
- Removing the wheels to carry out brake, steering and suspension checks
- Checking climate control and air conditioning systems
- Looking into engine diagnostic codes, and fully examining under the bonnet and under the vehicle
- Using high-quality parts that will go the distance
We will also stamp your service book, or update your digital service record.
For your complete peace of mind, it’s advised that you arrange a major service every
– by us and by manufacturers.
As well as investigating all the key points we’d cover in an interim and full service, a major service involves replacing parts that are recommended to be renewed every two years, including your cabin filter and brake hydraulic fluid.
We use only the highest quality parts, and make professional recommendations based on our combined 80 years of experience in the motor trade. So you can rest assured you’re receiving the best value, and only instructing work that is truly necessary.
